Choose a program that works for your class!
One-Off
A one-off session gives groups a flavor of what circus has to offer. Your group can try flying trapeze and other aerial and grounds apparatuses. This type of session can help gauge interest for a longer-term circus program, can be used as an icebreaker for new groups, as a teambuilding activity, or can simply be a fun experience. One-off sessions can be extended to an all day experience to meet specific group needs.
After-School Program (for your school or group)
Circus Fund's after-school program can be set up for any local group. This program is based on creativity, collaboration, and most of all FUN. Kids and teens learn new skills in a supportive environment, working along side peers and artist/educators. Each session will vary in format and will introduce new skills, allowing returning students to advance, and beginners to model their peers. This cooperative interaction enables students to progress at their own pace while still working together as a team.
Education Projects
Education projects focus on the same Circus Fundamentals of trapeze, balance and acrobatics found in our other programs, but they follow a more intensive format that runs daily for 1-4 weeks. Students, faculty, and parents collaborate with our staff to combine circus skills with academic subjects such as history, math, and science. When projects last 2 weeks or longer, students then showcase their wealth of learning in a grand "Circus-Spectacular."
8-Week Circus Project
An eight-week circus project involves two-hour sessions, once a week, for eight weeks. At the end of this time the group will be able to stage a low-key presentation for friends and family. Many participants will show improvements in concentration, coordination, confidence and behavior.
Long-term or Intensive Circus Project
This option is geared towards groups seeking a more long-term, intensive program. At the end of the project, participants will be able to demonstrate specific circus skills which they will then show off in their Grand Circus Exhibition. A project of this type can also incorporate elements of costume making and volunteering for other teens and adults in the community.
