Scott Cassell - Catcher
Scott has accumulated over 12,000 hours of dive time
as mixed-gas commercial diver, explorer-film maker, and a USCG qualified
Submersible Pilot.
He is ‘on screen talent’ with MTV’s WILDBOYZ as
well as ‘extreme cameraman’. His work with Giant Humboldt
squid has been featured on over four Discovery Channel productions
and the BBC around the world and Disney's 20,000
Leagues Under the Sea DVD where he is featured on a
bonus track.
He holds the world record for Longest Distance Traveled
by a Diver (52 miles in 9.5 hours non-stop) He used a diver tow -
glider he invented to cover more range for open-sea underwater filming.
The world record was his way of "testing it" and used
the event to raise money for a children’s charity.
His recent work as a civilian has been in Maritime
Vessel Security working as a Counter Terrorism Dive Operator in ‘High
Risk’ world regions for client companies where his secret operations
continue.
He is also is in production of the HD 26 episode ‘Sea Wolves,
the Series’, where his partner, Dale Pearson and he are filming
the last great underwater mysteries.
Currently when Scott isn’t spying on bad guys
or out at sea discovering and filming new sea phenomena, he
is a professional Trapeze Artist and ‘Catcher’ for Trapeze
High circus training group in Escondido California. |
